I love the feeling of sending off a Spoken Memoir in its special box and reflecting back on the interview and the clients I have worked with. The box I sent off today contained an interview I did with a couple who have been married for over 60 years. It’s not the first time I have interviewed a couple together and I was struck again by how well a shared interview can work. It gives each individual an opportunity to talk about their early life and memories, as well as a chance for both to talk about their life and their years together; in this case raising their family of four children and running a business together.
This particular couple have 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild and I hope one day the younger generations in their family will enjoy listening to the interview.
