“The interview was carefully organised by Sarah, who was happy to answer many questions and advise us beforehand so that the whole process became tailor made for my mother.”

A step by step guide

Our service is tailored individually to each client. One of us will work with you at every step to ensure that your Spoken Memoir is a record of your most precious memories. We aim to make the whole process as straightforward as possible so that you can relax and enjoy the experience.

To get started, contact us by telephone or e mail for an initial chat. We offer a free 1 hour consultation to answer any questions you may have and if you decide to go ahead we’ll arrange a date for your interview.

Biographical information

To help us plan your interview we will send you a form to fill in that will give us an overview of the key dates, people and events in your life. You will have the opportunity to mention any key moments and stories that you would like to mention in your recording.

Personalised postcards

You can choose three photographs that you would like us to use for the postcards to go in your gift box. You can send us these by e mail, or we can take photographs of them for you direct from your album on the day of your interview.

Your Interview

We will come to your home with our recording equipment and the plan for your interview.  We will talk through the plan first and then start recording when you feel completely happy. You will be free to pause or have a break whenever you wish, and we will make it as relaxed as possible. We suggest you allow three hours for the recording session.

Your Gift Box

We will listen through your interview and make some minor edits. We will then send you your beautiful gift box containing your interview on USB stick and your postcards. We will also send you a digital download of your interview so you can send it to family and friends via e mail if you wish, and make as many copies as you like. Allow approximately 2 – 3 weeks for your box to arrive.
